It is noted that Iran has produced its first hypersonic ballistic missile. According to the commander of IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, Iranian missiles are allegedly capable of bypassing the latest air defense systems.
According to him, the maximum speed of a hypersonic missile is Mach 5 (about 6 thousand kilometers per hour).
The statement of the commander of the IRGC was made against the background of information that recently appeared about the transfer of short-range ballistic missiles by Iran to the Russian army.
