Invading Russian forces' strategy is to surround Avdiivka

Oleksii Dmytrashkivskyi, spokesman for the Joint Press Center of the Tavriisk Defense Forces, said this on Espreso.

“The enemy managed to attack our troops' positions four times overnight. Russians conducted 37 assault actions yesterday. All combat actions took place along the Avdiivka-Marinka line. The Russian forces' strategic objective is to encircle Avdiivka to be able to storm Vuhledar. So far, all attempts are in vain. The enemy lost almost 3 companies of personnel killed and wounded, 46 pieces of equipment, including 15 tanks and 9 armored personnel carriers,” he noted.
