Invading Russian forces launch 15 missiles at Lviv region, part of them is shot down by Ukrainian air defense

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, talks about the morning shelling in the region

Maksym Kozytskyi wrote about this on Facebook, Espreso.West reports.

This morning, October 10, the invading Russian forces launched massive strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine. In particular, 15 rockets were launched at the Lviv region, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration said.

"At the moment, critical infrastructure objects are being hit. First of all, the enemy is hitting power substations, including in the Lviv region. Therefore, at the moment, power cuts and water supply are possible, and there may also be interruptions with the Internet," Kozytskyi said.

At the same time, the mayor of Lviv, Andrii Sadovyi, wrote on Telegram that an explosion was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility in Lviv. The relevant services went to the place.

"Due to the lack of electricity, the work of the city's thermal power plants has been temporarily suspended. Therefore, hot water is not being supplied at the moment. Backup generators have been started at several pumping stations to restore water supply to the city. Part of the city is without electricity. A third of the traffic lights are not working. After the air raid alarm is over, regulators will work at complex intersections," Andrii Sadovyi reported.
