Invading Russian forces fire over 30 shells at Nikopol, damaging houses, hotel, power lines
On the night of October 1, invading Russian forces shelled houses, farm buildings, cafes, a hotel, and power lines, leaving 1,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region without electricity
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, wrote about this on Telegram.
During the night, the Russian forces shelled two districts of the region - Nikopol and Synelnykove. The Nikopol district was hit 5 times with Grad systems and heavy artillery. The most affected was Nikopol, where the Russian forces fired more than 30 shells.
No people were injured, but private houses, farm buildings, a cafe, and a hotel were damaged. More than 1,000 families were left without electricity. Power engineers are repairing power lines.
In the Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities, people were not injured as a result of the shelling. In the Velykomukhailivka community, the extent of the destruction is also being investigated.
In other areas of Dnipropetrovsk region, the night was quiet and as of 07:48 the situation is also calm.
