Invading Russian forces' command calls escape from Izyum, Balaklia "regrouping"

This is stated in the department's statement posted on the evening of September 10, 2022, on the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense. 

"In order to achieve the stated goals of the special military operation to liberate Donbas, a decision was made to regroup the Russian troops located in the Balaklia and Izyum districts to increase efforts in the Donetsk direction," the Russian command noted. 

The Russian Ministry of Defense calls the debacle in the Kharkiv region and its subsequent escape from there "an operation for the drawdown of troops and organized regrouping."

"Over the course of three days, an operation was carried out to organize the reorganization of the Izyum-Balaklia group of troops on the territory of the "Donetsk People's Republic," the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
