Invading Russian forces bombard Sumy region with artillery, mortar fire: forest blaze continues

This was announced by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.
According to his information, the Russians opened fire on the territory of the community after 10 o'clock in the morning on September 2. They fired from barrel artillery and mortars, a total of 35 attacks.
As a result of shelling, a forest caught fire on the territory of the community. Information about victims and destruction is being clarified.
Around 3:00 p.m., the fire was still raging. Dmytro Zhyvytskyi published a photo of a forest in flames.
