Invading Russian forces abduct Ihor Kvashnin, head of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station's environmental protection service
Russian forces have abducted Ihor Kvashnin, the head of the environmental protection service at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station, and moved him to an unknown destination
This was reported by Energoatom on Telegram.
According to the report, on July 17, the Russian military, who temporarily occupied the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, kidnapped the head of the environmental protection service of the ZNPP.
"Yesterday, July 17, the invaders captured and took the head of the environmental protection service, Ihor Kvashnin, to an unknown destination. Now it is impossible to establish his whereabouts", Energoatom writes.
On Telegram, it is noted that the kidnapped Ihor Kvashnin was responsible for pollution control, including radioactive pollution.
Energoatom also warns of possible provocations, as Russian invaders destabilize the situation at the power plant and resort to terror.
"We would like to remind you that the service is responsible for the safety of the NPP environment, that is, the absence of contamination by any substances, including radioactive ones. Obviously, the next step of the occupiers will be another provocation. So do not lose your vigilance", it is noted.
