International aid, de-occupation and F16: Zaluzhnyi talks with General Milley
The AFU Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley
This was reported by the press service of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In today's telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley, we traditionally paid attention to the issue of the supply of military equipment, weapons and ammunition within the framework of international technical assistance to Ukraine, the situation on the front line and the further plans of the Defense Forces of our country to de-occupy its territory," the message says.
It is also noted that Zaluzhnyi emphasized the need to strengthen the capabilities of the air defense system of Ukraine, in particular by providing multi-purpose F16 combat aircraft.
"I thanked General Milley, the leadership and the people of the United States of America for the consistent support of our country in the fight against Russia's unprovoked and unjustified aggression. Every shell we receive, every piece of weaponry and equipment we have, means the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are saved. Thanks to the help of our partners, we will withstand and we will definitely win," he added.
