Intense fighting for Soledar continues, AFU use artillery and aviation to hit Russian enemy - unit commander

Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra reconnaissance unit, noted that small arms fighting continues for Soledar either

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I know that Bakhmut is standing and I believe that it will continue to stand. As for Soledar, according to the information I have, the fighting is still going on there, the fighting is very intense. From my experience, I want to say that I have never seen or heard anything like this. We are constantly engaged in small arms fire. We are hitting the enemy with rocket artillery and aircraft. This is the most brutal war we have ever seen," emphasized Volokhov.

The commander of the Terra reconnaissance unit also added that the enemy used to fight using old Soviet tactics.

"Russian forces are trying to copy our model of work. When the enemy came to our land, they fought according to old Soviet books, their tactics were primitive, without adjustment. They hoped for a large amount of ammunition, that quantity would translate into quality. Now they are trying to use commercial drones, but we know the enemy's launch points and are setting up a system of strikes. Soon, the enemy's intelligence situation will deteriorate," Volokhov emphasized.
