Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra reconnaissance unit of the Azov tactical group, said this on Espreso TV.
“The most characteristic feature of the Bakhmut campaign is infantry fighting. Since this is an urban area, our infantry can easily reach the enemy's, and the enemy can easily reach ours. These are clashes at very short distances using small arms,” he emphasized.
Mykola Volokhov noted that buildings are good cover for artillery. To destroy a not-so-strong major structure, the military needs aircraft and special ammunition.
