Russian attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information on Facebook. 

Russia still seeks to occupy Ukraine’s territory and continues to wage a war of aggression. It targets not only military but also civilian objects. 

Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. In total, 47 combat engagements took place in the above-mentioned areas over the last day, with Bakhmut and Marinka remaining in the epicenter of fighting. 

Ukrainian defense forces strike 15 Russian manpower concentrations

Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck 2 Russian control points, 3 manpower concentrations, 7 artillery units at firing positions, an ammunition depot, and 2 electronic warfare stations.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched 12 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel and military equipment, as well as 5 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders shot down 22 UAVs of various types.

Russia launches 7 missile, 49 air strikes, and 81 MLRS attacks at Ukraine

Over the past day, Russian troops launched 7 missile, 49 air strikes, and 81 MLRS attacks. The enemy once again launched S-300 missiles at Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka and Zaporizhzhia.

The threat of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high, as Russia continues to use terror tactics.

Russians deploy mobilized people with mental disorders to the Luhansk region  

In order to replenish losses in manpower, one of the Russian units operating in Svatove district, Luhansk region, received replenishment from among the mobilized persons. Among the newly arrived personnel, there are servicemen who have undergone treatment and rehabilitation for mental disorders.

Recently, against the background of significant losses, Russians have been stepping up counterintelligence activities in the temporarily occupied settlements. In particular, the number of posts and patrols in Yalta, Donetsk region, has increased. Representatives of the Russian commandant's office are searching for so-called "informants" and conducting searches.

Situation by directions is as follows

On the northeastern border with Russia, it continues to maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. It fired mortar and artillery shells at 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 4 in the Sumy region, and 10 more in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops attempted to improve the tactical situation during the day, launching attacks in the direction of Masiutivka, but were unsuccessful. They launched artillery and mortar attacks at 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 1 more in the Luhansk region. 

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces shelled the settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions close to the frontline yesterday.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops are on the offensive. Fighting continues in the town of Bakhmut. In addition, over the past day, they launched unsuccessful attacks in the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka and Stupochky. They launched air strikes near 3 settlements and shelled 13 in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near Avdiivka and Vodiane, shelled 4 more settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled numerous attacks near the town of Marinka. At the same time, 5 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian forces did not launch any assaults over the past day. However, they launched air strikes near 2 settlements and shelled 5 more.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are on the defensive. They launched an air strike near 1 settlement in the Donetsk region, 2 in the Zaporizhzhia region, and another in the Kherson region. At the same time, they shelled 15 settlements near the contact line in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Khersons regions.

On the northern border with Belarus, the operational situation remained unchanged, with no signs of offensive groups forming.
