In Ukraine, at least 144 children have died, more than 220 have been injured since the start of large-scale Russian aggression - Office of the Prosecutor General

Data on dead children in Mariupol is being established

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General in Telegram with reference to juvenile prosecutors.

"As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as of the morning of March 29, 2022, 144 children were killed, more than 220 were wounded", the message says.

The most affected children were in the Kyiv region - 68, in Kharkiv - 49, Donetsk - 54, Chernihiv - 38, Mykolaiv - 30, Luhansk - 28, Zaporizhzhya - 22, Zhytomyr - 15, Sumy - 15, Kherson - 25 regions, and the city of Kyiv -  16.

"Data is also being established on the dead and injured children in the city of Mariupol", the Office said.

So, on March 28, a 3-year-old child died from mine-explosive wounds in the Luhansk region, and in Zaporizhzhya, invaders wounded three civilians, including a child.

"Due to the bombing and shelling, 773 educational institutions were damaged, 75 of them were destroyed. The most damaged were in the Donetsk, Kharkiv regions, city of Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kyiv, and Kherson regions", the Office said.

The figures are not final, since it is not always possible to inspect the places of shelling, where the Rashists are actively fighting, as well as in the temporarily occupied territories.
