The General Staff shared operational information on Facebook.

"The invaders continue to overturn the so-called "volunteers" into Ukraine. Thus, according to available information, a battalion of about 400 people was formed in the Leningrad region. It consists exclusively of servicemen with combat experience. They were sent to Ukraine to reinforce one of the units of the 42nd  motorized rifle division of the 58th Combined Arms Army.

The invader does not stop inflicting missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya regions. Actively conducts aerial reconnaissance.

In the Siversk direction, the maintenance of separate units in the regions of the Kursk region bordering on Ukraine for carrying out demonstration actions in order to tie down our forces is not ruled out.

In the Slobozhansky direction, a partial blockade and artillery shelling of the city of Kharkiv continues. In some temporarily occupied territories, the invader resorts to the formation of units of the so-called "people's militia". Carries out appropriate work to carry out these measures.

In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the invader continued to deliver air strikes on Mariupol. Leads an offensive in the area of the Azovstal metallurgical complex and the seaport.

In the South Bug direction, the invader is trying to take control of individual settlements, but has no success.

On the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the defenders of Ukraine over the past day repulsed six invader attacks, destroyed two vehicles and three artillery systems of the invader.

"Until April 26, the Russian Federation introduced the so-called “yellow level of terrorist threat” in the areas bordering our state and in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. These measures are being taken, probably with the aim of organizing the movement of military equipment, weapons and personnel on the territory of Ukraine", the Armed Forces said.

The grouping of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an invader Su-25 aircraft over the previous day. The invader has significantly reduced the use of aviation due to weather conditions.
