In Kupyansk and Svatove directions, Ukrainian troops manage to gain control of heights

“The Defense Forces have successfully stabilized the situation in the Kupyansk and Svatove directions. They repelled the enemy's attack and carried out counterattacks, pushing them out of various positions and gaining control of important heights,” as stated by Fedorenko.

He mentioned that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have the initiative in the Kupyansk and Svatove directions. 

“The enemy periodically attempts to storm in groups with armored vehicles and artillery, but the Ukrainian artillery effectively counters their attacks, forcing them to change firing positions frequently. In this area, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have complete control and initiative,” according to Fedorenko.

• Since the full-scale invasion began, Russia has suffered significant losses on Ukrainian soil. They have lost 216,650 soldiers, 3,935 tanks, and 300 helicopters.

• American analysts observe that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively conducting counteroffensive actions in multiple areas of the front, continuously liberating populated areas. On the other hand, the occupiers are relying on favorable weather conditions for their aviation and hoping to halt the advance of the Armed Forces by using a "flexible defense" strategy.
