Due to the large number of refugees from Ukraine and asylum seekers from other countries, 12 out of 16 German federal states are currently not accepting new refugees

This is reported by the RND with an appeal to the Ministry of the Interior of Germany.

According to the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 980,000 Ukrainians have entered the country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The decision to stop accepting refugees is explained by the fact that soon some federal states will not be able to accommodate them.

However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that the reception of refugees is still possible and the government is studying further measures to support them.
