The US may consider easing sanctions against Russia if the Kremlin withdraws its troops from Ukraine and negotiates an end to the war

US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said this at a hearing in Congress, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“In the context of Russia's decision to engage in serious negotiations, withdraw its troops from Ukraine and return the territory, I will certainly support (sanctions relief - ed.). I think that Secretary of State Antony Blinken will, too,” she said.

On January 26, the United States imposed new sanctions on Russia, including on the Wagner PMC. And they are pressuring Turkey to ban flights to and from Russia and Belarus on Boeing.
