If China sends simply uniforms for Russian mobilized, it will prolong war - Ukrainian diplomat Chaly
If China goes for serious aid to Russia, the war will be prolonged for many years. This is an unacceptable scenario
Ukrainian diplomat Valeriy Chaly shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"It's not just about lethal weapons, even if China now starts sending non-lethal means of warfare to the aggressor. Helping the aggressor, as Iran and Belarus do, is also participating in aggression. I hope China will not take this side. Even if they send uniforms for Russian mobilized soldiers, it will have a very serious impact on the situation and drag the war out further," Chaly said.
In his opinion, China needs to abandon the logic of rivalry with the US and think about how to achieve the same goals in other ways.
"We know that Russia had once considered China a territorial threat. Now Russia has exposed all these rear areas, and China is doing Russia a huge favor by allowing it to concentrate all its forces to attack Ukraine. If China goes for serious aid to Russia, at the very least the war will be prolonged for many years. This is an unacceptable scenario," the diplomat summarized.
