IAEA Director General will travel to Russia on Wednesday to talk about ZNPP safety
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi will visit Kaliningrad on April 5 to discuss the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant
CNN writes about this with reference to a representative of the agency.
"IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi will visit Kaliningrad on Wednesday as part of his ongoing consultations aimed at ensuring the protection of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant during the military conflict," the spokesperson said.
The situation at the occupied nuclear plant has not improved, Grossi said earlier; he visited the facility last week and pointed out increased military activity in the area.
During the visit, Grossi said he was trying to formulate “realistic, viable proposals” that would be acceptable to both sides.
