IAEA chief warns Iran could revive nuclear program in months
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) head Rafael Grossi believes that Iran could begin producing enriched uranium within months, despite damage to several nuclear facilities caused by U.S. and Israeli strikes

He said this in an interview with CBS.
Grossi said Iran could get its centrifuges running again within months, maybe even sooner. At the same time, he noted he can't confirm that all of Iran’s nuclear facilities were destroyed.
"We are not there making any military evaluations, first of all, but, out of the logic of our conversation, it is clear that there has been severe damage, but it's not total damage, first of all. And secondly, Iran has the capacities there; industrial and technological capacities. So if they so wish, they will be able to start doing this again," Grossi added.
He also said it’s time to return to talks and come up with a technically solid solution for Iran’s nuclear program. Otherwise, Grossi warned, the issue will resurface.
- For context, on June 25, Iran’s parliament voted overwhelmingly to cut cooperation with the IAEA.
