I spent almost 5 months in occupied Izyum, which Buryats called "13 Yum" city - Izyum local, Bugera
Anastasia Bugera, a resident of Izyum, Kharkiv Region, said that her father arranged a hiding place for her in the sofa niche so that the occupying forces would not find her when they entered the house
This is reported on Espreso.
"I was under occupation for almost 5 months, that is, from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion until the de-occupation of the city of Izyum. It was a horror, it was scary and morally difficult, difficult to compare and describe with anything. I really want it to end as soon as possible and people in XXI century didn't know what life was like under occupation and bombing," said the resident of Izyuma.
Anastasia said that knowing about the atrocities of the invaders in Bucha, Irpen, her father arranged a hiding place for her in the sofa niche when the invaders came to the house and she was able to hide quickly.
"The name of the city is written in capital letters, and when the Buryats entered the city, after reading the name, they said that they were in the city of "13 Yum". And after the deoccupation, as my classmate in the military department wrote, the city of "13 Yum" again became Izyum," - said Anastasia Bugera.
