"I am at home - in Ukraine! We continue the fight": Mariupol defender Dmytro Kozatskyi publishes first post after release from Russian captivity
Mariupol defender Dmytro Kozatskyi (Orest), known as the "eyes of Azovstal", has commented on his release from Russian captivity for the first time.
He wrote about this on his Instagram page, adding the inscription "If we return", where the word "if" is crossed out and replaced by "when", Espreso.West reports.
"A phrase that we constantly corrected in conversations with each other in captivity. Thank you all for the greetings, for the words of support. For four months, I was always sure that the Ukrainians did not forget about us and shouted to the whole world, and even without communication and news, I felt the support of the bravest, best people in the world. I am happy that I can finally hug my relatives and thank everyone who made this exchange possible," Dmytro wrote.
According to him, many his comrades will never see their families again after the Russian terrorist attack in Olenivka. At the same time, Dmytro Kozatskyi called for efforts to ensure that those who remained in captivity return home in the near future.
"Only then will I be fully happy. I am at home - in Ukraine! We will continue the fight," the defender emphasized.
