"I am amazed": Chief of European Commission assesses Ukraine's progress on way to EU
The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen is impressed with Ukraine's progress in implementing reforms during the hostilities
"I am amazed to see how Ukraine is doing very difficult reforms while they are fighting a war. If they keep the pace — and I see they’re absolutely motivated — this is a decisive moment," she said.
Von der Leyen is convinced that Ukraine will eventually succeed in its application for EU membership.
Ukraine's accession to the EU: what is known
