Grozev comments on FSB accusation that he participated in operation to hijack Russian planes

Grozev denied his participation in any special services operations. According to him, the Bellingcat team was filming an investigative documentary about how the FSB and Ukrainian special services play a game, trying to deceive each other.  He added that this investigation should be published soon.

The FSB claimed that Ukrainian intelligence officers tried to recruit Russian pilots who were supposed to fly planes to the Kanatovo airfield near Kropyvnytskyi for a monetary reward and guarantees of obtaining citizenship of one of the EU countries.  According to the FSB, Hristo Grozev participated in the operation and found two couriers who were supposed to hand over the money.
