'Grain corridor': Russian Caliber missiles attack on Odesa set seaport on fire
After 11:00 on July 23, Russian forces have launched a massive missile attack on Odesa. The seaport is on fire
People's deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko from Odesa shared the news in his Telegram channel.
"There is a fire in the Odesa port. Here is the grain corridor. These bastards sign contracts with one hand and direct missiles with the other," he said.
"So, we need aircraft and we need to sink the entire Russian Black Sea fleet. This will be the best arrangement for the export of grain," Goncharenko added.
Later, the politician specified:
"Massive missile attack, two missiles flew by. There are casualties."
The Operational Command South of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed Goncharenko's statement.
"The enemy attacked the Odesa sea trade port with Caliber-type cruise missiles. 2 missiles were shot down by air defense forces. 2 hit the infrastructure facilities of the port," the Ukrainian military informed.
Reference. On July 22, an international agreement on unblocking Ukrainian ports for the export of grain was signed in Istanbul.
Later, the details of the agreement between Turkey, Ukraine, the UN and Russia regarding the transport of Ukrainian grain became known.
The first shipment of export Ukrainian grain, which was blocked by the Russian occupiers for a long time, should take place in the next 3-4 days at the port of Chornomorsk, located in the suburbs of Odesa.
