This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the Munich Security Conference broadcast by Espreso.
"We are fighting, we are personifying David against Goliath. To be a David, you have to act, you have to have something to beat Goliath with. I thank all our partners and the whole world for providing Ukraine with tanks to help David defeat Goliath. Russia (Goliath) will fall this year. We will manage to complete it this year. We will convince you that there is no alternative to our victory, to the determination of the Ukrainian people, as well as people in cities where freedom is valued," he said.
Zelenskyy added that Putin has the potential and is buying time.
"By bargaining with the world, he can still destroy many lives. We have to speed up the delivery of weapons to defeat Goliath and increase their quantity to reduce the potential of the Russian Federation. There is no alternative to this, because lives depend on speed. Any delay was and is a mistake," the President summarized.
