This is reported by Tagesschau with reference to the words of the German Defense Minister, Christine Lambrecht.
"Of course, Ukraine is free to choose the Alliance in which it feels free. However, there are certain requirements for joining NATO. Now this issue will be discussed between the 30 countries of the North Atlantic Alliance," the minister said while visiting Chișinău.
At the same time, according to her, it is necessary to take into account the current situation in Ukraine.
"Germany will not take any steps here alone," Lambrecht said.
Lambrecht warned that the West would be paralyzed by Russia's threats to use nuclear weapons and called for continued support for Ukraine.
