Germany to supply Ukraine with items to protect against nuclear, biological, chemical weapons

This was reported by the press service of the German Ministry of Defense.

The set includes decontamination systems of the HEP70 type, consisting of six vehicles, each of which has two tanks for the disinfectant.

The total value of the package is more than EUR 860,000. It is noted that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have previously undergone training in order to use the provided protection systems.

"The Bundeswehr not only supports Ukraine with heavy weapons. I made a decision to provide Ukraine with a package of protection against nuclear, biological, as well as chemical weapons. This will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the necessary ability to immediately defuse explosive munitions", Lambrecht said.
