The Federal Ministry of Finance reported this at the request of Welt am Sonntag.
This amount includes assets of sanctioned Russian individuals, as well as assets of companies and the Russian Central Bank. However, it is not known what share of these assets belongs to Russian oligarchs in Germany.
Detailed information on blocked property should be published by the Central Office for the Application of Sanctions. This is currently impossible, as the body is still being established. Currently, 36 people work there.
