German MARS II MLRS reach Ukraine

Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov shared the statement.

"The third long-armed brother has arrived in Ukraine - the MARS II anti-aircraft missile system from Germany. I thank Germany and personally my colleague, Minister of Defense Kristina Lambrecht, for these systems. Our gunners congratulate their German partners!" Reznikov tweeted.

Let's add that the MARS-II MLRS has two launch packages and can launch 12 missiles at the enemy at a range of 80 km, destroying 12 targets in one launch.

Two similar systems are already operating in Ukraine - the American M142 HIMARS and the British M270 MLRS.
