The German government is willing to transfer more Gepard self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine to defend against Russian attacks

This was reported by RND with reference to the words of government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit.
It is noted that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the country would be able to send several Gepard systems to Ukraine again.
Details about the supply of weapons will become known only after the transfer takes place.
“Since the Bundeswehr has not had Gepard systems since 2012, they are not from the Bundeswehr,” Hebestreit said.
Thus, the only option left is from the stock of the manufacturing company or from Qatar, where the World Cup stadiums are protected from possible terrorist attacks from the air by German Gepards.
