Remains of over 30 people killed by Russian bombing found in Mariupol, Russians secretly reburied them - Mariupol mayor's advisor

The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, said that the best people of the city were killed in the House of Communication as a result of Russian bombing

He said this on Espreso TV.

"Over 30 people were there, their bodies have been taken away. We thought that the occupiers had stopped the rubble removal because of the uproar around the fact that this Communication House has a mosaic panel by Arnautov - it is our national heritage - but no. The dead were indeed found there. Some of them were identified, those who had documents with them in the basement. Unfortunately, the best people of Mariupol were there. We were sure that almost all the large burial grounds had been cleared, but even we did not know about the House of Communication. Probably because everyone who was nearby and hiding there was killed. There was no one to tell us that there was such a terrible burial ground," Andriushchenko emphasized.

According to him, Russians did everything very quietly, reburialing people.

"Not everyone was retrieved from there intact. Regrettably, I am unable to share the message received from the city, resonating with profound grief, from an individual who identified the girl who lost her life there.," Andriushchenko added.
