General Staff: the invaders are trying to attack in the Rubizhne area and plan to ban the departure from the occupied Crimea to prevent the disruption of the spring conscription campaign

In the Volhynia and Polissya directions, the invader did not conduct active operations, no signs of the formation of offensive groupings were revealed. Measures are being taken to strengthen the protection of the state border in the western and northwestern directions. The forces and means of air defense have been transferred to duty in an enhanced mode. The security of headquarters, communication centers, military camps, arsenals, bases and warehouses for storing weapons, military equipment and fuel and lubricants has been tightened.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the invader, with the forces of up to seven battalion tactical groups from the 6th combined-arms army, coastal troops of the Baltic and northern fleets, continues to partially block the city of Kharkiv, engages in fire damage to units of our troops and critical infrastructure.

In the Izyum direction, the invader concentrated up to 25 battalion tactical groups from the 1st Tank Army, the 20th and 35th Combined Arms Armies and the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District, the airborne troops of the armed forces to conduct combat operations.  Federation.

Also, the invader is making attempts to attack in the direction of the settlement Zavody. It went out to the northern outskirts of Dibrovne, trying to gain a foothold on the reached line.

In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the invaders intensified military operations along the entire line of combat during the day. The invader is carrying out assault operations in the area of ​​the settlement of Zarichne and is trying to attack with forces towards the battalion in the area of ​​the settlement of Rubizhne.

Defensive battles with the invader continue in the direction of the settlements of Novtoshkivske and Popasna. The invader continues to try, with the support of artillery, to carry out assault operations in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Maryinka.

At the same time, the invader is reinforcing the grouping of troops in the Zaporizhzhya direction. Logistical support measures for the occupying troops continue.

In the Southern Bug direction, the invader continued to fire on the units of the Defense Forces, tried to conduct reconnaissance in force in the Trudolyubivka area, suffered losses, and retreated to previously occupied positions.

It is noted that the invader continues to suffer losses. According to available information, on April 20 of this year, another batch of wounded servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation (about 220 people) and more than 50 bodies of the dead invaders were delivered to the central district hospital of the city of Novoaydar.

In addition, the battalion tactical group of the 136th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 58th combined arms army of the Southern Military District, operating in the Kurakhivsky direction, suffered significant losses in manpower (up to 250 people) and lost up to 10 units of rocket and receiver systems.

Also, according to available information, the personnel of the 150th motorized rifle division of the 8th combined arms army of the Southern Military District, involved in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine, did not receive the so-called combat equipment for the month of March. Therefore, the military personnel express their dissatisfaction and indignation.

The General Staff emphasizes that in order to prevent the disruption of the spring conscription campaign in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, from April 30 of this year, entry and exit to the peninsula will be prohibited by the invaders.

Also, in the temporarily occupied territories, invader units continue to block the movement of the local population, rob and artificially bring a humanitarian crisis closer - they destroy critical infrastructure facilities and block the delivery of humanitarian supplies from the territory of Ukraine. There are cases of executions of the civilian population and volunteers.

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past 24 hours, ten attacks by Russian invaders were repulsed, six tanks, eight armored and fifteen automotive vehicles, and four artillery systems were destroyed.

The grouping of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with anti-aircraft gunners of the Ground and Airborne Assault Forces, the Marine Corps and the National Guard, destroyed fifteen air targets over the previous day: nine UAVs, three aircraft and three helicopters.
