General Staff of Ukraine: Russia fortifying defensive positions on left bank of Dnipro River
The Russian forces are fortifying defensive positions on the occupied left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
“The enemy is trying to keep the temporarily captured territories, concentrates efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions. At the same time, the enemy does not stop conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka areas. Russian troops are fortifying defensive positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River,” the General Staff reports.
During the day, Oct. 26, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Ivanhrad, Andriyivka, Soledar, Kurdyumivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske, Maryinka, and Kamianka of the Donetsk oblast.
