Japanese Finance Minister Shun'ichi Suzuki has stated that G7 finance ministers reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine on Sunday

In particular, it is noted that the G7 finance ministers and central bank governors did not discuss the latest developments in the foreign exchange market.

The G7 meeting was held on the sidelines of the financial meeting of the Group of 20 largest economies in this city in western India. This year, Japan holds the G7 presidency on a rotating basis.

On July 16, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that doubling support for Ukraine in its defense against Russia is the best way to help the global economy.
