Ambassadors of G7 countries have declared their participation in Ukraine’s urban planning reform (5655).
G7 ambassadors’ participation was published in a joint statement on the official Twitter account after a meeting with Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization Mykhailo Fedorov, relevant MPs, industry experts on the implementation of the reform and the creation of a monitoring group.
“G7 ambassadors were interested to hear about the implementation of Urban planning reform, which we will continue to monitor. Essential that the powers of local communities be preserved,” the statement said.
Earlier, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, invited representatives of the G7 countries and all stakeholders of the industry, particularly specialized associations, business, and anti-corruption organizations, to join a monitoring group that will undersee the implementation of the reform and develop bylaws necessary for the launch of the reform.
