FSB monitors those who refuse Russian passport and go to forest in occupied territories – AFU General Staff
In the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, FSB representatives have restricted visits to forests: those who are spotted there are checked and monitored, as well as those who do not have a Russian passport
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.
Russian troops intensify the counterintelligence regime in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
"For example, in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the number of patrols has been increased, personal documents and vehicles are being checked more thoroughly at checkpoints. The Russian occupiers have restricted visits to forest areas. Citizens of Ukraine who are spotted in these locations are getting monitored by the Russian Federal Security Service and their personal data is checked," the press service said.
In particular, Russian forces are covertly monitoring Ukrainians who have refused Russian passports. FSB officers are also interested in how funds are transferred from the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine to the temporarily occupied territories and then converted into cash.
"At the same time, due to the critical shortage of skilled staff at Zaporizhzhia NPP who are willing to work for the occupiers, the enemy has increased psychological and physical pressure on Ukrainian employees at ZNPP. Using intimidation, threats, blackmail and torture, the enemy continues to force the latter to obtain Russian citizenship and sign employment contracts with the Russian state corporation Rosatom," the General Staff added.
