Four enemy missiles hit Burshtyn TPP, the fire has been extinguished - head of Regional Military Administration

Fire at the facility has already been extinguished. According to preliminary information, no employee of the station was injured

Svitlana Onyshchuk, the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration told it on her Facebook page, "Espreso.West" reports.

On October 10, during a missile attack in Prykarpattia, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down one Russian missile, but 4 more shells hit the critical infrastructure facility of the region - Burshtyn TPP. The fire at the facility has already been extinguished.

"4 rockets hit the open distribution device of Burshtyn TPP. Currently, there is a fire at the site. No employee of the station was injured. Employees of the State Emergency Service are working. I also want to note that the voltage in the regional power grid has dropped sharply. However, consumers of the region are fully provided with energy supply" - Svitlana Onyshchuk said.

At the same time, residents of the region are urged to limit electricity consumption from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., which will help level critical loads.

 The head of the OVA also emphasized that in Ivano-Frankivsk region schools and kindergartens will switch to distance education by the end of the week.
