For the first time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down Russian transport-combat helicopters Mi-8 with ATGM "Korsar"

This was stated in the command of the DShU of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On April 1, the military of the 95th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the invaders' Mi-8 transport-combat helicopters. After being hit by a missile, an unguided Russian helicopter collided with another invader helicopter that was flying behind.

"The helicopters were destroyed in the Kharkiv region by the crew of the domestic Korsar portable anti-tank missile system. This is, in fact, the first time that an air target was successfully destroyed with an anti-tank system!", the Airborne Assault Forces noted.

The military also released a video showing Russian helicopters ablaze after they crashed.
