Two hundred passengers arrived from the capital to Kherson. All of them bought so-called tickets "to victory".
The train arrived at the station, connected to electricity and water supply the day before, an hour later - at 10:00 a.m. About a hundred people came to greet the train, mostly Kherson residents or internally displaced persons from Kherson or Mykolaiv regions. Some of them came with children.
Following the train’s arrival, people started to sing the national anthem and awarded the railway workers. Rapper Yarmak and Kolya Serha also held a concert on the platform.
The railway connection to Kherson was restored a week after the de-occupation. At this stage, the train will depart to Kherson on even dates, and from Kherson on odd dates.
