This is reported by Yle, citing Marin's statement.
"Stronger sanctions against Russia must be introduced. We must be brave and defend democratic values. That is why it is important that Ukraine wins this war", Sanna Marin emphasized.
She noted that Europe faced a number of problems due to the fact that it delayed the transition to more environmentally friendly sources of electricity and remained dependent on Russian energy resources.
In her opinion, we need to ask ourselves whether it was possible to prevent Russia's attack on Ukraine if the world had reacted more decisively to all the Kremlin's previous actions, as well as not to repeat the mistakes and not make ourselves dependent on yet another authoritarian country.
