Fighters with Zakarpattian Legion show how they liberate Kherson region from invading Russian forces
Soldiers with the 128th Detached Zakarpattian Mountain Assault Brigade are confidently liberating the Kherson region settlements from the invading Russian forces.
This is stated on the Ukrainian fighters' Facebook page, Espreso.West reports.
"Step by step, we are moving forward. Soldiers with the 128th Detached Zakarpattian Mountain Assault Brigade are confidently liberating the populated areas of our country. Biliaivka, Khreshchenivka, Ukrainka, Leninske, Shevchenkivka, and Petrivka. More to come! Together to victory," the message reads.
For reference. The 128th Detached Zakarpattian Mountain Assault Brigade is a mountain infantry unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The brigade is part of the Operational Command West; the headquarters of the brigade is located in the city of Mukachevo, and the units are located on the territory of the Zakarpattian region.
The brigade was created after the reformation of the 128th Mechanized Division, which had its history from the 128th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the former Soviet Army.
