The Kherson Regional Military Administration informs about this.
"In a field near the village of Ivanivka, two men, 24 and 18 years old, stepped on a Russian mine. It detonated, local residents were seriously injured as a result," the press service writes.
As a result of the explosion, one of the victims lost both legs, the other received a chest wound and mine-explosive injuries. They were hospitalized in Kryvyi Rih.
The administration said this is the fifth such incident in a week: "In just seven days, mine explosions killed one resident of the Kherson region, and another 5 were injured."
Ukrainians are urged not to visit areas that have not yet been surveyed by sappers and not to ignore the authorities' recommendations.
On March 22, a civilian in the Kherson region stepped on a Russian mine. As a result of the explosion, he lost part of his leg.
On March 25, a civilian was blown up by a Russian mine near Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kherson region. His arms and legs were wounded.
