Fifth attack on Odesa region in one week: air defense destroys 30 drones, non-residential building damaged

On the night of September 7 and 8, Russian terrorists launched drone attacks at Odesa region. In total, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 30 Shahed drones, wreckages hit non-residential building

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, informed.

"Last night, Russian terrorists attacked Odesa region with attack drones for the fifth time in a week. The wreckage of a downed drone damaged a non-residential building," the statement said.

It is noted that there was also a dry grass fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. No one was killed or injured.

It is noted that a total of 20 Shahed drones were launched in the direction of the Odesa region.

The Air Force noted that anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile firing groups, and air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were used.

In total, 16 Shahed-136/131s were destroyed in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

The Espreso TV channel and the Vesna Charitable Foundation are raising funds to buy modern drones for the 23rd Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The defenders are working in the hot Donetsk direction. They need drones to conduct highly effective reconnaissance.
