Fierce fighting underway 10 km from Kupyansk in eastern Kharkiv region

"The enemy is constantly shelling Kupyansk. Yesterday, 10 to 12 kilometers from the city, there were battles near the settlements of Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi and Vilshana. The attack was repelled, the situation remains under control," emphasized Kanashevych.

According to the acting head of the Kupyansk district military administration, Russian troops are trying to consolidate their positions on the left bank of the Oskil river.

"Previously, there were clashes on the border with the Luhansk region. The enemy is testing our defense and trying to find weaknesses," added Kanashevych.
