Families of Azovstal prisoners plan to meet with authorities for information on relatives' condition - Azov soldier's mother
Relatives of the soldiers who were captured from Azovstal want to meet with the Ukrainian authorities to find out where, and how, they are.
The mother of the prisoner of war soldier of the Azov regiment, Iryna Novosyadlo, said this on Espreso.
"We continue to call various hotlines, although we know what information they will say there. We also contacted the International Committee of the Red Cross - after all, it is the only organization in the world that should have access to prisoners of war, the world has delegated such a mandate to it," she said.
Novosyadlo added that the relatives also want to meet with the Ukrainian authorities.
"We also now want to organize a meeting of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities with us so that they can provide information on the condition of our children and where they are. As of now, we have no information on when such a meeting can take place," she concluded.
