Explosive force on Nord Stream gas pipelines equals 700 kg in TNT equivalent - Ukrainian experts

On September 26, a man-made explosion of about 700 kg in TNT equivalent took place at the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea

This is evidenced by an in-depth analysis of seismic data conducted by the Main Center for Special Control of Ukraine's State Space Agency.

According to the Main Center for Special Control, as a result of an in-depth analysis of seismic data by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, seismic signals from the Baltic Sea were registered on September 26.

The records of seismic signals on the channels of the FINES (Finland) and NORSAR (Norway) stations were analyzed.

According to seismic monitoring data, the geographic location of the signal source has been determined.

According to the analysis of the Main Center of Special Control, it is a "signal of man-made origin with an estimated power of about 700 kg in TNT equivalent".
