Oleg Kryuchkov, an advisor to the leader overseeing Crimea's occupation, stated that the fire was supposedly a result of a "household incident" at the military facility. Currently, the fire has been brought under control.
Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi reported the Simferopol fire on Telegram, suggesting it originated from recklessness within the military unit.
A video, likely depicting the burning military facility, was published on a Russian Telegram channel.
According to the description, the fire began after residents heard explosions.
- On September 7th, an explosion occurred near the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Russian Rostov-on-Don. Authorities attributed it to the activities of the air defense.
