Explosion in Mariupol: Russian commander’s car blown up

On Monday, March 27, an explosion has been heard in occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region

The Mariupol City Council reported the information on Telegram.

An explosion occurred in Mariupol at 08:07 a.m. in the area of the Bakhchyvanji market (Prymorskyi district, Budivelnykiv Avenue). According to preliminary information, the car of one of the Russian commanders exploded. 

"Mariupol resistance struck in the occupied Mariupol, blowing up the car of one of the top military officers. More details later," said Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko. 

The city council did not provide any further details, but a Russian propaganda outlet cited its sources as saying that the attempt was made on the "police chief" of the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Mikhail Moskvin.

According to the propagandists, Moskvin was a few meters away from the car when it exploded. He allegedly suffered only a contusion and survived the explosion.
