European Commission head arrives in Kyiv
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has arrived in Ukraine's capital Kyiv.
She wrote about it on Twitter.
"In Kyiv for my third visit since the start of the Russia’s war. So much has changed. Now Ukraine is a candidate for the EU. I will discuss with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Denys Shmyhal how to continue getting our economies and people together while Ukraine progresses towards accession," she noted.
Among other things, she will discuss with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy the connection of Ukraine to the EU electricity grid and the introduction of free roaming for Ukrainians.
