Joseph Borrell, a highly-positioned representative of the EU, declared this after the Council of ministers in Brussel had finished, Ukrinform reports.
He mentioned that the military support will surpass a 2 mlrd point just from the EU, bar the individual European countries’ support.
This is a lot more than people might think, Europeans will be helping till the very end, emphasizes the council official.
He is certain that the EU’s military help plays an important role, and that the supplies have to be expanded.
His prediction is that the war is at its “peak”, as the Ukraine military forces are going into a counterattack on the East of Ukraine.
“We can’t let Ukraine run out of weapons and supplies, and we won’t.” was his emphasis.
He also mentioned that if it’s true that Russia has lost about 15% of it’s personnel in the beginning of the war, then it’s a record-breaking amount of losses from an invading country’s side.
He added: “I don’t know if they’ll be able to replenish their supplies, but what the Russian army has lost so far truly amazes.”
